AGNESE GUIDO
AGNESE GUIDO was born in 1982 in Lecce. She currently lives and works in Milan. Guido has shown her work in various exhibitions, including a solo show titled 158 at FL Gallery in Milan in 2019, where she presented works in tempera on paper that intertwine fantastical and everyday elements. The exhibition explored current issues with a satirical twist, transforming common objects into protagonists of visual narratives that reflect the concerns and fears of our time.
Among Agnese Guido’s most significant works are paintings and ceramics depicting a variety of subjects, from floppy disks to cigarettes to anthropomorphic figures and surreal characters. Her works are characterized by a skillful use of colors and soft brushstrokes, which create vivid and tangible images capable of evoking an emotional connection with the viewer.
